I completed my professional, postgraduate training in clinical, hypnotic techniques and psychotherapeutic approaches with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. Shortly afterwards I set up my hypnotherapy practise in Hinckley. I also see hypnotherapy patients from Leicester, Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
I hold professional memberships with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, and the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and practise in accordance with their ethical frameworks, codes of conduct, and requirements for continuing professional development.
During my time with the LCCH, I received instruction in the treatment of a comprehensive range of clinical and non clinical issues, and undertook extensive, specialist research into the very latest evidence-based therapies for anxieties, specific phobias, and bodily focussed repetitive behaviours – including nail-biting.
Before becoming a clinical hypnotherapist, I worked as a school teacher and college lecturer. I now combine my educational training with hypnotherapy to motivate others. I have more than a decade’s combined experience of empowering people of all ages in therapeutic, one to one support, and educational settings and a first hand appreciation of the effects of a high stress working environment on the mind and body.
